Go Blue and get healthy! The University of Michigan ActiveU app helps you reach your physical activity goals as you track your weekly physical activity. Whether you’re just getting started on your path to personal fitness, or you’re training for a marathon, ActiveU has the tools and the community to help you succeed.

Be active, manage stress, and connect with teammates as part of a bigger Michigan community with ActiveU!

Get Inspired:
With ActiveU, you’ll get a weekly newsletter full of guidance and tips on how to get and stay active, and how to get the most out of participating in the ActiveU community.

Try a new exercise, learn a stretch you can do at your desk, and sign up for fun MHealthy activities and other programs on the U-M campus and beyond.

Track Your Progress:
You can track your daily activity from anywhere! If you’ve got an internet connection, log your time from your smartphone or your computer. No Wi-Fi? No worries! You can text in your time.

FitBit Connection:
The ActiveU app also connects to FitBit, so if you register your FitBit through ActiveU, you can automatically record your activity without worrying about whether you logged your minutes last week!

Stay Motivated:
Joining ActiveU means you can create or join a team of your peers to help keep you motivated. You can also participate as an individual and get support from the entire U-M community through ActiveU’s blog and weekly newsletter.

Competition:
What’s the fun in being part of a team if you’ve got no one to compete with? Compete against other U-M teams in your chosen division for honor, glory, and recognition on social media. Since team standings are calculated based on how many people on your team reach their goal — rather than how lofty the goals are — everyone’s got a fighting chance!

Who Can Participate:
Anyone at the University of Michigan, as well as U-M retirees, and spouses or other qualified adults (OQA) of U-M faculty and staff.
